Zombie Island

Does anybody have the new DLC for Borderlands yet? Just looking for some feed back to see if i should get it.

Its more Borderlands. Its fun but it has NO NEW LOOT. Just more places to explore.

Well I'm definitely considering it, hopefully XBL does one of those 50% off deal of the week things for it. But i have another question now.

I doesn't say anything on it so im guessing my answer is no, but please tell me there is a level cap extension. I wanted to be able to pimp my class a lot more than it is right now. All i can do now is reset my skills and adjust them to my needs.

Ya, Unfortunately i got my answer in the new game informer. They interview the game's creator and talk about DLC. Good news, They plan on adding some things to do in Old haven and are considering a level cap and maybe even a storage locker for players to keep equipment. Meanwhile, I'm gonna go loot hunting on a 3rd playthrough, apparently you can only get the best stuff that way.

Yea. Its not really a 3rd playthrough. Its a postgame. You are still in the secound playthrough but everything is lvl fortyeight to 51 and drop weapons in the same range. You just kinda cruise around and kill things but you can't go through the story again which is gay because some of the story only guns would be sick if you could pick them up at lvl 50.

Aww, Gay. I knew the 3rd playthrough would be everything Lvl 50 or so but ya, I was hoping for some good lvl story weapons as well. At least I've memorized most of the good treasure chest locations that will be sure to give me great loot.

There is a rare spawn enemy in Zombie Island that carries a Weapons crate in its back. Kinda cool.

Well, i'm still on the fence about the DLC. In the meantime, each run through the Eridian Promontory earns me about 4 to 8 Weapons proficiency levels. So I'm gonna go pimp out my dude, And hopefully get something really good while doing it. I've had my revolver through my entire 2nd playthrough and still haven't found anything better, Its amazing. Which reminds me, did you ever get your hands on Commander Steele's weapon? I never did, which irritates me.

Like a Revolver or something. Apparently it has some sort of cool physics in it, but I don't know.
Anyway, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot is out now. Storage locker Added apparently. Just a few tournaments, though. Sounds Challenging.

I D/Led it and never got around to playing it.

Warning! Do not go into it without Friends. Its difficult. I can only survive about 2 rounds in any of the arenas alone. You might fare better but i get screwed with the second wind system.
