Widge brought it last night. So awesome. Its everything I thought it would be... yay.

I just saw the new trailer for L4D2 and it officially convinced me that I need to get it instead of getting Borderlands.

I maxed out my lvl. This is one of the best games I have ever played. I love it. It even stole a bunch of my excitement from MW2. And as L4D goes... Looks like an upgraded 1st one. Another game where I wont find people to play with.

I'll be getting L4D2 at the end of the month. I think I've changed my mind on Splinter Cell, though. I'll likely get this game, too.

This game is the shit. Though i was disappointed with some of the weapon selection, particularly the alien weapons and the rocket launchers. Heaven forbid a rocket that has a 1000 damage rating hit somebody in their critical spot and kill them.

I have a triple rocket that fires 3 at once. and carries 7 bursts. Thats 21 rockets in tube, all doing over 1000 in damage.

Considering the gameplay, i just thought the rockets would be more fun and devastating. Right now i have a rocket that does about 1400damage, 2 rockets per tube, and a 4x zoom. I've had pretty much that exact same launcher you just described give or take the ammo capacity, but i'm no good with the burst fire stats, not even with smg's or combat rifles.

I'm a hunter and Snipers are my fav weapons in any shooter. My proficiency with it is at like 27 or 28. Which gives me a 108% accuracy bonus, so everytime i miss and it isnt because of a glitch or because im in the middle of a "Kill the fuck out of player 1" Fest, i die a little inside.
I'm looking to level up a soldier class cuz Snag wants to be a hunter for the exact same reason as me. And we need some diversity.

I have to say Borderlands is actually kinda fun. I do not like the stupid accuracy aspect of it though but all in all its a good game. I dont really see how this game can be compared to Fallout 3 though. Fallout is way, way, waaaaay better.

I have to agree and disagree. If your playing by yourself then of coarse fallout is better. But if you want to run around and grab loot with some buddies you just cant do that in fallout.

Ya but Fallout has way more substance. All the action and co-op fun in the world can't make a game like borderlands really shine until it gets an actually good story and more to it than just guns and shooting.

To compare the 2. Borderlands is a single sheet of paper with a really fun design colored on it. And Fallout 3 Is an entire novel with a few well drawn pictures inside.

There not the same game... I think they are both worth the money and good games. I probably played Fallout 3 longer.

Exactly, but every tabloid out there has said they are alike and that fans of fallout would love borderlands. For me, its just not the case. Its hard to compare the too and when you do, you see how borderlands lacks much of the innovation that fallout 3 has succeeded in bringing. Thats my opinion anyway.

Go watch the videos for a game called Brink. I'm gonna try and post them on the top site later today.
